Chief Executive Officer

Mathew Owens, CPA

Mathew Owens (Chief Executive Officer) earned his B.A. in economics with emphasis in accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara and has been a certified public accountant since 2002. Mathew bought, renovated and sold or held over 700 single family properties having 10+ years of experience in property management and 15+ years of experience in taxation, auditing and real estate. Mathew is currently buying 5+ single family rental properties per month, acquiring and operating value-add multifamily properties. He is a private lender with over $10M lent in multiple markets across the U.S. and has raised over $75 million in private investor capital. He currently owns over 130 units in Memphis, TN, Atlanta, GA, and St. Louis, MO.

Tyler Owens (Chief Financial Officer) earned his B.S. in business finance at Cal State Dominguez Hills and is a licensed real estate agent. Tyler ran his own business in addition to working for various finance companies before working for OCG. Now with over 13 years of real estate experience analyzing over 100 investment properties per month and his own real estate portfolio, Tyler assists in all parts of the acquisition of properties, investor relations, property analysis and due diligence, property management coordination, renovation estimates, marketing and sales, bill payments and record retention procedures.

Rick Wang, Realtor

Rick Wang (Asset Underwriter) graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Rick obtained his real estate license in 2009 and his life insurance license in 2010, and primarily focuses on underwriting all of OCG’s lending arm transactions. Rick is an active investor himself so he is able to provide a significant value to our clients in helping them achieve their investment goals by specializing in deal structuring, financial projections, cash flow planning and investment underwriting. In addition, Rick helps OCG develop various investment educational programs, our affiliate program, and development of our online leads management systems.

Director of Operations

Son Quach, Realtor

Son Quach (Investment Manager) graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in finance and helps OCG Properties with implementation of the processes and systems OCG deploys. He also is in charge of all of the contracts, deeds, notes, other investment documentation for our investors and is an integral part of raising capital from investors and investor communication. Son assists in closing various real estate transactions and helps to manage flipping and lending operations, investment tracking and analysis, budgeting and complete investment management for all of OCG’s various real estate assets.
